The Pain & Health Management Center represents a unique multidisciplinary initiative that brings together a comprehensive team of professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic, benign and cancer pain. This team includes anesthesiologist, psychologist and physical therapist, as well as consultants in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, physical rehabilitation and oncology.
Depending upon the type of pain process (neuropathic, deafferentative, mixed, etc.), an individualized treatment program is developed and specific medical objectives are pursued in helping patients obtain a more productive, comfortable lifestyle. Cost-effective treatments are coordinated closely with referring professional, emphasizing restoration of function, patient education and behavioral modification.
With offices and staff privileges through-out the Houston area, the Pain & Health Management Center offers cost-effective diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide range of patients suffering from chronic, benign and cancer pain.
Referrals are accepted from physicians and professionals of all specialties. Patient progress will be monitored closely with the referring service.
